What do you do to make it look like you cleaned house all day when you didn't?

I don't know about you but some days I just don't want to clean house but I feel guilty because I am sure my husband don't feel like going to work all the time. One of my tricks is I will put a sheet of fabric softener in the vacuum bag in run the vacuum right before my husband comes home so he can smell the fresh smell and make plenty of lines where the front door is and vacuum a little in the living room. What do you do to make it look like you where busy all day?

I try to keep the house clean by picking up the eye sores that ever cross my eye. I'm guilty of missing the less obvious dirt around but I just don't have the patience to clean them all. Once in a while I mop the floor with soaped water but I can't do that everyday. I'm afraid to lose much sweat and I can't afford to by energy drinks.

For me to look busy all day, i mess up the house. I can also make anyone believe i'm busy by playing video games. At least i want them to catch me playing. Regarding your question, i'D rather sit it out than clean. I am a merry person.
