My 10-year old jeans..and I'm still wearing it!

I'm ambivalent whether to be shy or be proud that I am still wearing this Levi's jeans which I have been wearing for a decade now. It has a sentimental value actually, I bought it using my very first hard-earned money that's why it means a lot. It has its episodes, when I gained weight, I gave it a hiatus in my cabinet, but when I got my usual weight, I fit it again and used it over these years.. It's so dear to me, not to mention the style that really fits me.
I am happy to have it, more so that I am still wearing an old stuff. Should I be proud or be shy about it?

PROUD!...I still wear clothes from when I was 12yrs old that's a little over 10 years now. They fit Just fine. I am the same weight, I don't care I'm loving my old stuff and the weird thing is I get away by calling them vintage and adding bits and pieces to them to update the look a bit. It's been fun. be proud honey.

I think you should proud because its mean you can maintain your body size and you making good decision buying good quality jeans.
There something really cool about old jeans. The more they are the more comfort to wear because the fabric more smooth. Old jeans color today become trend too.
I usually wear my pair of jeans until it tears and I had to replace it with new one. sometimes I cut the tears one into short pant thats really comfort.

That only shows that you never gained weight for the past 10 years.
How I wish I to be like you.
This seems to be a reminder for me now to lose weight again so I could use my old jeans.

You should be proud! Not only did you find your HG (holy grail) jeans, but you bought them with your first paycheck (right?) ! Be happy since it fits you well, and it's a high quality pair of pants, well constructed with good materials and craftsmanship to last you a decade, and more! Congratulations!

Jeans are supposed to last that long right? After all, if you're not really packing on weight, you should be really proud that you can still wear it.
A well loved pair of jeans is the most comfortable thing to wear in the world!

Why should you be shy about it? I think it is great, and pieces of clothing like that are really great, because they are truly classics!
And worn in jeans are the best anyway, nothing fits your body better. It just shows you the quality of Levi's, I think!
