Hi sunny, Talking on mobile for long time is not good for health. The radiations can damage the brain. So it is better to avoid long talks through mobile. However, many people are not caring this fact and just engrossed on talks, they even forget about the surrounding people. I am using my mobile very less time and more depending on landline phone for talks.

Hi there Sunny 4691! I think the longest time that I have talked to someone over the cellphone was two hours. It happened only once and I have a good reason for enduring that long conversation. It was with my sister who moved to Manila to look for a job. We were not able to talk to each other for months so we had lots of catching up to do.

Hi, I don't really use my mobile phone for chatting nowadays, but sometimes when my brother or friends called me up,then we will have a chat for about 10-30 minutes...I found that my ear will get hotter if I were to use mobile phone for too long. Last time when I was dating, I could chat on mobile phone with my boyfriend for more than an hour, then I realized my both ears are hot and pain,so I tell myself not to use mobile phone for long for chatting.

Unfortunately, because of my work, I tend to be on my phone a lot. I got my first cell phone on my 18th birthday. That was back in January of 1989. I've been using cell phone for almost 22 years now. As far as health issues go, I haven't felt the affects of it yet. I have gained a bit of weight since I was 18 but I seriously doubt it was because I've been using cell phone. I got into a car accident when I was 14, I was a passenger, & I've been getting migraines ever since. They have gotten a lot better since. I'm not saying use of cell phone cured my headaches but it sure didn't seem to make it worse. I know of a person who listens to ipod with high volume all the time. He seem to have little bit of a hearing issue. I don't think use of cell phone caused it. He uses may be an hour of cell phone a month. I use somewhere between 2,500 - 3,000 minutes a month talking on my phone & I have better hearing than he does. But anyways, I do understand where you're coming from. I do think there are too many people using cell phone for all the wrong reasons.

The amount of time I talk on my cell phone, will vary from day to day. I talk to my daughter the longest though, as she lives far away from me,and she is expecting her 4th boy on the 29th of this month, so we keep in touch so I know how things are going for her. We used to text a lot, but now we just talk. I would be lost without my cell phone, as it is the only one I have and use. Take care, and have a very good day.
