There are quizzes about finding out whether you'll be able to survive a horror movie or not. We just choose what we'll do in a given situation. From the choices, I usually pick the one which I think is the best strategy I should do to survive, not really the usual thing I think I'd normally do in real life. Of course, it's different when we are in the real world, when we are faced in a matter of life and death situation. My quiz result says I'll definitely survive a horror movie. To be honest, I'm not really sure if I would truly survive in a horror film come to life. My mind may tell me the best thing to do but I may not have enough courage to do it or I may become too frightened or anxious that I can't do it properly or I'll screw it up. Well, not to be pessimistic but I also have to be somehow realistic. When difficult situations arise, it's hard to stay calm and think clearly. It's like a fight or flight response, either our body can manage the stressors or not. I have to admit, I'm such a nervous wreck. It will not be easy for me I think. Well, some people may be so courageous and clever that they may truly think or believe they'll survive. I have few friends I've asked and they said they would really survive considering that they have dealt with a lot of things in life and they're confident in handling tough situations. But I don't want to say I'll die, of course, I still have hope that I'll be able to surpass it, I'll really try my best to stay alive. How about you guys, what's the result of your quiz? What horror movie would you like to be a part of? (not that you want it to happen for real okay) Do you think you would survive a horror film or movie come to life? =)

I think the fact is always not similiar to what you imagine, sometimes the situation is even worse. If the horror situation really happen in my life just like what it is in the movie, firstly,I would be ready to fight.Maybe I am not capable to deal with it.But i am comforting, cause at least I haven't escaped.

Yup, I agree. It's usually different in real life. Sometimes, what we expect to happen in the movies doesn't always happen in real life. In most horror movies, the main characters usually get lucky somehow in their fight for their lives and they usually can think of an awesome plan to escape or put down the villain, the script is well-written or planned. In real life, no one can tell what would or could happen next. =)

I don't think I can since I can barely survive watching a horror flick. I'm always a nervous wreck after seeing one. I know these things are just figments of one's imagination, but they do affect me in a certain way, like spiders affecting people who are arachnophobic. I'm even afraid to venture in the dark, even when I know there's nothing there. It's strange especially for an adult like me, but I guess we all have our own weirdness. So, in answer to your question: No, I wouldn't be able to survive if a horror film comes real.

We're quite the same. I'm also afraid of the dark. I just remembered the show "Are You Afraid of the Dark?", I used to be so frightened when watching their episodes. Haha. Anyway, I agree, we all have our own fears and weaknesses. =)
