I've gotten paid by Triond, Review Stream, and Helium and if you can write well, with correct spelling and grammar and write decent sized articles of about 250 words, you should be able to earn money on writing sites.

I wrote about 300 articles so far on Triond and have earned over 350 dollars so far. Now I am making around 30-50 dollars a month, even from not writing anymore, because what I wrote before keeps earning money :D. I mainly write short little recipes, very easy :D

Writing has been my hobby since my high school years, and is still is. Yes, there are a number of sites where you can write online, articles, short stories, reviews, and so on. One site I have been wroking with for some time now is "Review Stream". You can write brief reviews on a variety of topics there, things you come across in your day-to-day activities, movies, restaurants, shopping, travel, hotels, and so on, and get paid once the review submitted is approved.

There are a lot of sites that publish articles, and there are thousands of possible topics. But the main requirement for all of them is that you have to be able to write fairly correct standard English.
