Is it OK cleaning monitor with wet dust cloth? Some people told me don't use it. But I sometimes find someone use it to clean the screen of monitor. I'm afraid it will cause special damage. But I must to clean it. Is there any body knows how to clean it? So it must be special treatment, mustn't it? What kind of gel or maybe there is a certain water that clean the screen well? I need to know about it. Please, need suggestion for maintenance.

Damp cloth and water will be enough. I personal also once a month I use also special wet and dry soft papers (a combination that i buy from PC shops or super markets) only to keep my screen in TOP condition. With long time use of water screen becomes a little muddy. That's why i use also special LCD screen cleaners.

i use a damp paper towel with no water running out of it over my screen. i then get a dry kleenex and wipe it off. i use no chemicals or sprays on it. the same goes for my keyboard. the same as above.

A damp cloth works generally just make sure the cloth is soft and not rough also don't put to much water as you don't need that much and juts lightly wipe at the screen if it is an LCD or newer. Also you don't need any chemicals to clean the monitor. So you can use a damp cloth not to the point of where it is dripping water just a little bit goes a long way with cleaning your computer monitor. The main thing is not to use any cleaners as they can cause some damage and also to make sure you also take a dry cloth that is also soft and dry the screen so no water gets behind the screen somehow also make sure you do turn the monitor off as well as unplug it just to be on the safe side. :)
