Is it easier to remember an avatar pic then a real face?

I think in some ways its much easier to remember an interesting peace of art then a real face. Come on I mean in life people seem to blend into the crowd so much sometimes its not easy to remember the things that set them apart from other people for example people tend to fallow trends meaning they wear smiler clothing as others or wear the same hair styles. I think its sometimes the same with offline names because a lot of names are very common and sound alike, so there not always easy to remember, but I think that sometimes its much easier to remember a fun avatar then real face. What do you think do you find it easier to remember an avatar over a real face pic?
