What's the longest you've gone without a cigarette?

I've been a smoker for 11 years and I've lost count of the number of times I've "quit". No matter how long I go, I always end up smoking again! I'm sure it's the same for many of you. So I'm curious, what's the longest amount of time you've quit for? For me, I've gone about 2 years without a single cigarette!

The last time I smoked was 6 weeks ago, so its getting longer everyday. This will sound bad but even though Im not really getting cravings I still miss my morning cigerette, I miss sitting there with a cup of coffee and a cigerette before I face the world. But Im managing to go without it!

i started smoking on 1992, and i was at my 1st year in high school. i admit that i'm a Marlboro-dependent, but there were times i thought of quitting. as far as i can remember, the longest time i "quited" smoking was 3 months, when i attended gym sessions. but i really wanna call it a quit soon, though.
