Home burglar alarm system worse than the real burglar

I hate to say this, but sometimes those so - called home burglar alarm system vow to protect your home safety really worse than those burglars, and they try every way to ruin your life. A lady sign a contract from this home alarm system without knowing there is a contract bound to it from a salesperson. After she wants to cancel the system, the company representative did actually tell her that she has contract with it, or pay a hefty fee. Without any negotiation, she can only pay for the cancellation fee. But at the same time, the alarm system company ruin her credit history. They claim that she didn't pay on the credit bureau, and so and so. She just has to file a complaint on better business bureau, but I doubt it might has any help on her situation. So, here is the advice, never sign contract with those companies whatsoever, they are there to ruin your life.

It is very popular in my country, Malaysia too.
The residents don't have to buy the alarm system. They are providing the alarm system FREE. No installation charges too.
The only thing they have to pay is the monthly service charge for certain period.
During this period, the maintenance of the alarm system will be provided FREE too.
After one or two years subscription, they start owning the alarm system and they have an option to continue the subscription.
If the resident breach the contract, then he/she has to compensate the alarm system company.
In your case, the alarm system company is not ethically.
You should public out your problem in the newspaper to alert other end users.

I told my friend, she should file a complaint on better business bureau, so people know about what this company is doing is trying to rip people off. Don't fall for it ever again.
