Readers Digest- Did any of you get Rs.5,00,000 lucky number giveaway mail?

Upon checking my mailbox i came across some RD sweepstakes info.i had subscribed to that hoping to increase my chances of winning.So when i saw the second mail they asked to avail a book for Rs.249 so i agreed.Now i wonder why? Have any of you received the 5 lakh number giveaway and how does it work?

Is this true? Is this legit that you can receive that money? There are lots of spam email says that we win money, be careful
