can anyone tell me how correct the 'consider replacing your battery' error that appears on windows 7 - my laptop battery is working fine but this error started to appear. I've tried to google it but, perhaps it's me, i can't seem to find a clear answer to fix it. I'm running an Acer laptop. Thanks to all the techie mylotters out there in advance

Ok , may be reinstalling windows 7 will make your problem solved . Otherwise contact the acer support . They can surely help you . And are you sure that your battery is a branded one ? If not ,please replace it with a branded one . Thanks for your post !

I have the same problem in windows 7 64bit with an MSI GX700 Megabook. I was read somewhere that if you take battery out for a night and also make a bios reset will solve the problem. DON'T TRY IT !!! I follow this instruction and the next day wen I had more clean mind I was understand that this was something stupid because the problem is not a hardware problem but an OS problem that have to resolve mother Microsoft. I will follow your discussion hoping to read a correct answer.
