Christmas time is here again. Is it a Sad or a Good Christmas for you?

Well for me it is another sad Christmas again. For me Christmas is a day of a child, since this is the day that Christ the baby is born. We give gifts especially to children. But every Christmas, I have nothing to buy my children. My children don't have new clothes and new toys again this Christmas. It is so sad, that I sometimes wish this day won't come. But it is the birth of Christ. What is more blessed than God Himself came to this world? Well I am still thankful despite the hardship that my family is dealing, that Christ was born. Merry Christmas to all.

Why do we have to be sad if we know the true essence of CHRISTmas. CHRISTmas is not about gifts and all the material things you can give to your children. Its good that somehow you're grateful inspite of your situation because if you'll just look around there are alot more kids out there who are hungry. They don't even know what CHRISTmas is. We really need to tell our children that CHRISTmas is not about gifts but it's all about CHRIST.

Well I'd heard about that already and it is a good moral boosting. But you cannot still avoid the fact that it is Christmas and you have nothing to buy your kids. Well for me it is much better to do something about it that just sit here and type how miserable my life is.

Hello there jamed! Im so sad to hear that from you, but you should not count your blessings by just counting the material things you have. If you wanted to saty happy, count the things that was with you all throughout that money could not buy. Be thankful that you have your family with you. You have your kids and you're all healthy that fact really could show that you're much luckier than the others. Keep on hoping, praying and doing all sorts of things that could give you a much better life in the next days to come and im sure that you will attain all of your wishes in due time. Have a nice day!

I am trying not to count them, but if you only have few left in which even the number of my fingers are larger than what I have, then counting is very hard to resist.

No, whether abundant or not this Christmas, no one should be sad! As we know that this is the day when Christ is born to save the humankind! We should be very grateful for this time... And, for me, the greatest gift we can give to children is not the tangible one, that would not make them happy completely. The greatest gift that i know in life is LOVE! That is priceless... And God himself sent His ever precious gift to Us... And that would His Only Begotten Son! To let us see how He loves us... Thank you and happy mylotting. Merry Christmas there:-):-)

I think this is the another sad Christmas I have after my mom passed away 2 years ago. Now I work here abroad and away from family. There's no Christmas season here because this is the center of Islam so people are now allowed to celebrate it in public. What I mean we can still celebrate Christmas but only inside our room and only Filipinos will be around. Being happy during this season might be away from us. Before we always celebrated it with family members but here I don't know but one thing I am sure most of us happy only for about 40% of the total happiness we felt before when we are accompany with family.

It's another sad Christmas because my mother-in-law passed away in February this year. Last year, my grandfather passed away. We've been fortunate to be with family and celebrate the fun times we've had over the way. We give gifts to my niece and nephew and watch them open presents. They are the only kids left in our immediate families.

No one should feel sad on Christmas. That's the problem with most people. They only thought of giving gifts for Christmas. The previous posts are true. We can never rely on the tangible ones in order to feel happy for this special occasion. Simple celebration with the whole family will do. It's not just about giving, Christmas is all about sharing LOVE to one another. I've read an article telling, "the enemy has given the children Santa Claus to forget the true meaning of Christmas." which I belive is true. Don't focus on material things, it doesn't last. Remember what's the real meaning of this occasion, and it is for celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ our savior. Happy myLotting!

It is a definitely going to be a good Christmas for me. This is my first Christmas as a married woman. I'm really excited as to what to prepare for the coming event. We are also on a tight budget since I'm pregnant and we are saving our money for my delivery but still we are happy because of all the blessings.

Christmas for me isn't always the greatest, but being with my son makes it seem so much better, that being alone this time of year. The thing of it is, we tend to forget what Christmas is all about and go overboard with gifts, and then we end bp broke in the end. Christmas is my favorite holiday even though it isn't always what I had expected it to be. I have a daughter that lives far away from me in another state, so I don't get to spend the holidays with her, and that part is sad, but I am dealing with it. I do miss her at this time of year, but she has her own family now and her own life to live. I do agree though, that Christmas is what you make it. I try my best to make the most of it. Take care, and have a blessed Thanksgiving and may God bless you.

Go New York, go go, as I believe Christmas here will be awesome. This is one of the most pivotal years for me, as I've completely changed into a new person. I've gained a lot, by being hired, moving into a new house, and caring for a baby. There is much more to come, and I believe each Christmas after will only get better. Meanwhile, I am really hoping that there will be a snowy Christmas. Let take off our thinking caps and enjoy this Christmas. May the new years shine through the world.

I think, it'll be good Christmas, but I don't feel appropriate climate. Too early Christmas decorations in shops etc. :(
