To Catholics... On Confession

How often do you go to confession? Do you still believe in it or are you the type who prefers to confess direct to God? If you a staunch believer in confession, how do you encourage your fellow catholics to go to confession?

As a roman catholic, i still believe in confession. Although i would say that i don't get to confess my sins every month but i do it every year. Before holy week, to be exact. I have so many sins that i wanted to confess them every month but i just can't find the time to do so. I know this is for my own spiritual good but sometimes i feel like confessing it to God. That way i can get to talk to him directly and ask for his forgiveness. We can't push everyone to confess their sins to the priests if they really don't believe in it.
