The worst miss ever?

In the current edition of the Asia Game, we might have witness one of the worst (if not the worst) misses in soccer. In the match between Uzbekistan and Qatar, one of Qatar's player is through on goal after an air-kick by Uzbekistan goalkeeper. As he dribble towards goal, with the goal wide open and barely one metre away, he managed to strike the ball onto the post. Worse for the player, Qatar went on to lose the match 1-0

I have seen this, but I have seen worse. I cannot remember exactly who were those players who missed, but I remember seeing a player shooting above the goal from closer range than this player. Even great player have missed from excellent opportunities, so I can say that it can happen to everyone.

One "horror miss" that I can think of was Kanu's some season back. I can't remember who was the opponent. He had the whole goal in front of him and he manage to skied the ball from again, less than a metre out.
It can happen to even the best of players but when it does occurred, the unlucky people will have people talking about it for a long time and the miss being replayed over and over again.

I have seen a lot. I have seen a striker miss from 1 feet from the goal and he shoot it way up the post.
The miss I like to forget is when Rosicky miss a goal from 1 feet away and he hit the side post when Arsenal are trailing by 0-1.This is the season when Arsenal surrender their lead at the top of table and finished 3rd.

Wow, that was very bad! Very bad player. If I were the coach, I would punish him for that miss. I would not allow him to play football in the national team for one year at least. Giving him time to think about the miss he had done.
I think that was the worst miss ever I have ever seen in football!
