preferred place to stay

hey there college buddies! LoL! i just want to know where does everyone prefer to stay when they enter college. i know that most of us choose a school or university away from home to experience "independence" OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. if that is the case, then, choosing where to stay during our college life matters. i am in college too, but i stay in the university dormitory. how about you?
