Do you set goals for you, some basics for goal settings?

I believe that one should plan the things in advance and that way it would be easier to progress and achieve the output. We need to consider followign points about goal setting: - Know exactly what you want - Write down your goals - Believe in yourself - Remind yourself constantly of the goal - Be passionate about your goal - Break it down into bite size chunks - Reward yourself along the way - Stay positive at all times - Remember the only way you will fail is if you give up Do you belive above points are important to achieve a goal?

I have never been Tjhat positive in my whole life. I just dream and keep doing what I do. I have always been surprised when each dream came true. I Never wrote them down or cut it into chunks. I just wished i could do this or that and it happened. I think the G-ds like that I assume it Isn't suppose to happen to me, lol!

Hello friend, that's great discussion and i like the list of the necessary numbers of things we need before we reach our goals. That list is useful for me today, because i need to work really hard these days to do as much, as it's possible. Every day i pick a goal, but most of the times i can't reach it. I think that one important part of the list is missing. The person, who has goal, need to be realistic, to know what is possible for him, not to pick goals indiscriminately. We are not God and some things are easier, some are harder, others are impossible for each of us, so we need to make assessment of our skills. We can have amazing goals, to believe in them, to try to reach them, but if our skills are not good enough, at the end we will be disappointed and next time we will give up easier. Have a great day.

as far as i'm concerned. i agree with all the things you have posted. although i want to add some things. Having a Goal is being SMART. meaning your goal should be simple, manageable, attainable, realistic and time bound.

Couldn't be more agree with you. And rayverkayle_16 has the point. Your goal should be "SMART" as described. The most important is the goal should be "positive" or in positive form. Which will make our subconscious mind accept it. For example if I told you not to think about color "RED", what do you think? Yes "RED" exactly, although the goal is not to think color "RED" but unfortunately we think about it. So get rid of negative thing and get start to make your goal :D
