In "LOVE" Can a "Lie" takes a "Life"???

In our life sometimes we tell a lie for many reasons,like avoiding someone,to make happy someone,for safe our self from trouble etc...but can you imagine in love a lie can takes a "Life"????.....
i see an incident like this--
one of my friend loves a girl very much from a true Heart and the girl also loves my friend very much,one day girl was hospitalize for disease,then one of the girl's friend told my friend,"your girlfriend died at last night,you can't see her again"..that was the lie...
that day my friend can't control himself and suicide by cutting nerve,from that day i can't tell a single lie.... can the girl forgive her friend????

extremely sorry to hear about your friend ,love blinds a person and they begin to think not using the mind but through emotions and as we all know emotions are uncontrollable ,love is one of them.in many occasions this theory of yours proves to be true but sometimes it's a little different.As for the girl who was sick ,she should forgive her friend but isolate her-self from her company as a sick joke can be played again by her,once again i feel really sorry for your loss.

Holy, this is truly awful, I am sorry for your friend who was lied to the point that he took life over a lie. Wow truly amazing.
I cannot say what the circumstances were but I have to admit that I would have a hard time forgiving the friend. One thing for sure we would not continue being friends as her appearance would be a constant reminder of her error.

I am a believer in forgiveness as a way of freeing ourselves from resentment and not necessarily to condone what the other person has done but I must say that a situation like this would take some work! It is very sad indeed and I have no idea what kind of person would tell such a lie or what purpose she would have to do so…I am sorry this has happened to your friend, my heart goes out to her and yes I would like to think I would eventually forgive but I would not want the person who told such a cruel and horrible lie in my life ever again!

That is very sad! Why would the girl say something like that? Did she want them to break up? I would think she felt awful when she heard what her lie caused. I would also think that the girlfriend will always hold it against her. It kind of reminds me of a modern day "Romeo and Juliet".
