FIFA has more or less succesfully fighting Racism. This is evidenced by the merging of black and white players can be one team at the level domestic league and national team. National team in European countries has been much strengthened by players such mixed blood : France ,germany ,Italy etc

If you think that players are not racist you are wrong. If you think that fans are not racist, you are wrong again. How can a FIFA project change the way we think, I don't know. Of course that many teams are made from players from different countries, different races, but they play for money, they are not necessarily friends. I am not saying that I am racist, but I don't care for the project FIFA does. They don't really believe in their own project and slogans, because if they were, diving and other unfair actions would be drastically punished. Their projects are sand in the eye, nothing more.

While the evidence of racism is getting lesser nowadays, how it is stil very much alive in the game. The latest is during the midweek international friendly whereby Mario Balotelli had to endure racist chant whenever he had the ball.
