Banning of Four Loko in New York

So as of Dec 10 the popular alcoholic energy drink Four Loko will be banned from being bought in New York. I think that if you cant handle something then its not the products fault after all there are a ton of "contains alcohol" warnings all over the can. Yes theres an issue with the mixture of alcohol and caffeine being dangerous but there are already other products out there that have this so why is Four Loko being singled out? I think this type of action against products like this is a slippery slope. Whats your opinion on this? I know its been banned in other states as well.
