To work at home or to work outside your home?

I have been working outside my home for years already, and I would like to try working from home just for the change, to be honest. But I have no idea which option is actually better, I think they both have their benefits and their disadvantages. So I guess in the end it mostly depends on what you are like as a person, and what you prefer.

Both are necessary and it is also depand on interest. As some people like office job and some like field job in the same manner some people like work at home and some like work outside home. There are various reason of such variation like: Some people like to separate professional life from personal life that why they prefer work outside home, on the other hand some people like to work and wants to remain in touch with family so they prefer work from home. But I think both are good when divide a week for work from home and work outside home. So a person can remain in touch with family. Work outside is good when people want to interact personally with their colleague and client. Work from home is give an opportunity to earn extra money that is the biggest advantage of all.

I wouldn't mind working at home or outside. It is a great thing if I can do both.As a stay at home Mum with two little kids to think of, working at home seems the best option because I can do my work and earn while I can ensure my kids wellness and safety as well. However, the perks of working outside is also tempting. Outside you can meet and mingle with real people, learn and experience things which your home can not provide. Also, it will lessen the boredom because you woill often have a change in surrounding and you'll be interacting with different interesting people, discover new places or stuff. but, if given a choice I'd prefer both where I can work at home and outside whenever I want to and at my convenience.:)

i still prefer to have a full time work outside my home and do some part time inside my home. =)

Hello mike2121! I supposed that having 2 children incline me to choose working at home. I would feel secure doing my work at home so that I will be able to take good care of my daughters as well. However, when I was still single and married but with no child yet, I chose to work outside of the house since mingling with other people really helps in my social skills aspect, I have gained friends as well where we meet to have fun and bond.
