Being at Odds

Why does it seem hard to show your love for a younger brother? I love my brother but we've always been at odds, I'm older and I try to understand him but it's hard especially since he seems to not care that he failed his grades. How can we patch up our already a bit tattered relationship?

oh...in my case my odd brother is the one a year older than me since i am the youngest. i am the one who always understand and compromise, too.
these days that we are already grown up everything is okay.
i could only advice you to try to sort out the weakness and strength of your brother and take it from there.

I understand what your going through I have the same indifference with my sister. The best advice I can give you is commuunication alot of the fights happen because of a misunderstanding. Just talk to each other more and be more and try to understand him better. I Hope things work out between the both of you.
