At the start of the season they did! They were expected to go far this season! Instead they have looked awful! Favre looks pathitic! He has allready thrown 17 interceptions! Favre is playing beat up,too! They have issues with the recieving core! Injuries was one thing! They then traded for Randy Moss and then let him go after a month! The defense looks bad at times! So do you think Brad Childress be fired after the season and should the Vikings bench Favre for Travarias Jackson? My opinion is do both!

I am a Vikings fan and I had high hopes for them this season after the way they played last year, I am also a cowboys fan and could repeat this sentence again. LOL Now I am stuck with the, there's always next year blues. I never thought the season would end up so poorly for both teams. Hopefully they answer the questions left unanswered on the field during the offseason. What a complete sham it turned out to be!

I am grateful I am not a Viking and Cowboy fan! I am very happy being a Packer fan! I was surprised that both the Cowboys and Vikings stunk! Maybe both or at least one team will be good! With the Packers at least we are the NFC Championship game on sunday! I can't wait! Go Pack!

Ditch them all and start from square one!

LOL they almost have too! Except Adrian Peterson, you could build a great team around him and jared Allen.

The coach should go. When you have players leaking to the press that they are winning In Spite of him, it is time for a new coach.

When I wrote this discussion I did not things would go as they have! Brad Childress was fired and now Defensive Coodinator Leslie Frazier is the interim coach. I thought Farve would be benched but won't be! He should be! He really didn't seem to want to come back and that sexting investagation is on going! That is my opinion anyway!

I think you will see a better team now that Brad Childress is history. Probably will bench Favre soon becauase of his physical condition. How long do you go on WANTING things to happen? Look at the Cowboys after Wade Phillips was fired 2-0 since his departure! You can have all the tools to do any job but if you can't put them all together it doesn't do any good to have them.

I hope they bench Brett Favre soon! Favre is just doing more damage to his body every time he plays in a game. I would not doubt he'll be very crippled in later years for all the abuse his body has gone through playing football! More then the average player! They won today so Leslie Frazier looks like he was the right person to replace Childress!

Brad Childress was fired a couple of days ago. I guess that's one step in heading in the right direction. The other thing the Vikings can do to improve their offense is hand the ball off to adrian peterson more. He has the nickname "all-day" for a reason. He can tear a defense apart, and with the run game open, that will ideally allow for things to be thrown up in the air. As for Tavaris Jackson, I'm a bit sketchy about his potential. The Vikings have had Tavaris Jackson on the team for a while now and should have a very accurate assessment of the damage he can do. Brett Favre definitely has the best shot of taking the Vikings into a potential playoff birth. But that shot, is very very far off.

I did not think Brad Childress would be fired when he was. Maybe now with Leslie Frazier as the interim coach maybe things will be different! We'll see! It amazes me that Childress didn't use Peterson more then he did! It is obvious the more you run Peterson the better off the Vikings will be! I don't know if Jackson will be the answer when Favre really retires. If not maybe they can draft a QB or get one through free agency. We'll see!
