Now, hold on, I'm talking about shoes! Have you experienced buying a shoe, a size smaller or bigger because the shoe store just doesn't have your size and because you just love that exact shoe and can't wait to wear it? I have and let me tell you that it's a waste of money! Have you tried walking with too tight shoes? horrible! or loose shoes? I don't want be like Cinderella and have an accident of leaving my precious shoes behind! Regal me with your similar stories...^_^

Ah, shoes! I think we have all done this. And sometimes they have foreign sizes and you are looking for your size and then it is explained that your size is totally different from the actual size you need. I don't shop much for myself and my granddaughter is a close horse. She and her mother-in-law shop 'til they drop.

It really does! I don't want to wear shoes that is not fit for my feet. Even though how good it looks on my if I am uncomfortable with it if I will be wearing not my size and if their stock already ran out.

I always fall for shoes and my sister gets the better of the deal since she's a size smaller than me:((

Hi marapplestiffy, I once brought shoe from Woodland which was a size short/small. It was also very narrow near the toes. So it not only squeezed my foot but also was hard on toe and fingers. It gave me ulcers near my ankle. So what i did was i gave them away to someone i knew who had a size less than me . And yes they were costly leather shoes and even though i knew they are small by one size, they were beautiful and thus i did buy them.

I've had to buy a pair of shoes from DSW last week. It took me a good hour to locate the shoe I really liked. The brand was Sketchers, it looked great and was easier to wear because of slip on technology. When I looked through the rack to wear on a shoe, I tried on my regular nine and a half size. This was too big, and so I tried on half a size less until I reached eight and a half. At that moment, I couldn't find such a size and remembered that the display shoe fit pretty well. That shoe was a size eight, and so I located its box and bought the last pair of size 8 sketchers in that shoe lot.

Yes. I think so. I just have the same experience. Sometimes I would buy some shoes that aren't of my size.Because I love the style, colour or something else of the shoes. And do you know what happened?I almost couldn't walk normally.I just felt painful at any time I wore the shoes regardless I was sitting or walking. So now I learn a fact that the wrong size just does't fit you. And you should choose the shoes that suit your feet. That's the wise way to buy a pair of shoes.

Hi marapple, Yes, the shoes size must be the exact one otherwise we can’t walk comfortably. I am not using shoes except in winter season. In winter season once the cool become severe then I have to opt for the shoes. If it is tight then it will be painful and if it is opposite then also we can’t walk properly. So when buying shoes I will be very careful on the size and I don’t forget to wear the same and walk few steps in the shop itself.

Yes, size does matter! I bought a pair of high heeled shoes once. I knew they were too tight for me but it was chocolate brown and classic-looking...it completed my outfit for an oath-taking ceremony. Well, I got through the ceremony fine, was able to have some nice photos taken and then I changed my beautiful pair of shoes to some flipflops before going to the celebration in a restaurant. Cheers!

My size is between 7 to 8 inch. I think ladies have small feet compared to men. I find my size very easily so I never had problem with buying the shoes for me. It can be horrible to wear it tight or loose. You will love to walk on your bare feet rather than with the tight or loose shoes. If it is tight it hurts and if it is loose then there are chances that it you will drop it down somewhere in the street.
