Who Are You Thankful For in Your Life?

When thinking about what and who you are thankful for, don't forget to give thanks to someone who made a difference in your life. You just don't know how much that person really needs to hear it. This is not just for Thanksgiving, but always. "Feeling gratitude without expressing it is like wrapping a gift without giving it." i feel thankful to my parents...my mom for giving birth to me- to both of them for loving me, putting a roof over my head, sending me to school and many other things that they have done for me. And i also thank god for giving me my parents and my sister..

Have you told your parents how much you appreciate them? xoxo

I'm sure they do, but we shouldn't live life on assumptions. Often people will assume that others know how they really feel only to find that they didn't. If you can't say it, how about writing a letter just as the person in the video did? That way not only will you have expressed your sentiments, they'll have something tangible that they can go back to over and over. xoxo Cyne

No...I don't know why I find it hard to tell them. I'm just not a person who can easily say what I really feel about my family. But I find it so easy with friends. I hope that they know how much I love and cherish them though..

The video was very well done. Powerful message with appropriate and beautiful music. Having a focus of expressing appreciation and thanks toward those who have blessed us is a wonderful mindset to have going into Thanksgiving. Thanks.

I agree. I found the message very touching. It can be so easy to forget to show appreciation, or to just assume that people know we appreciate them. It's something we should remember to actively let the important people know what they've meant in our lives continually. And while it is very appropriate on Thanksgiving, waiting for special days might be too late. xoxo

Maybe the lesson to be learned from your enemy is how to maintain a loving, patient and caring mentality even when faced with hatred and cruelty. xoxo Cyne

Hello CynergyDiva! I like your discussion, for me I am most thankful of my parents. I think most of us would choose our parents to be grateful of, since we would not be in this world we live in without them. But, most especially, I thank them for bringing me up in a home where I could be with a complete family up until now. They are my inspiration, cheers!

I was raised by my Mum. She took care of me all on her own, and sometimes that meant leaving me to live with my Grandma while she worked. She worked very hard, sometimes 2 jobs to provide for me. Sadly, I didn't really appreciate the sacrifices she made for me until I became an adult. She's 71 now and had a heart attack 3 yrs ago. I came very close to losing her and now I'm thankful that I still have her around. xoxo Cyne
