A Jealous Friend

I admit that I was once a jealous friend, but that was before I got married. I wanted my friends to spend time with me and if they couldn't I get hurt but didn't make it into an issue. I just kept it to myself although sometimes it showed and my friends and i had to patch things up.
Now I met this person who became a friend and would tell me all sorts of things as if he wanted me to get jealous. I can see clearly his objectives: wanting me to get jealous, but I don't know why it is so important for him that I should get jealous?

I wish he could honestly tell me why! I already confronted him about it but he just answers with a shrug.

Maybe he just has a really big ego. There are people who just wants to be noticed. They wanted to be looked at as someone important that's why they want other people around them to be jealous.

Hahahaha and I think you're absolutely right. Or he's just an insecure person who wanted someone to make him feel better and consider him as the most important person in this world!

Me also sometimes a jealous friend even now that I married, few of my friends seen that attitude of me which still I don't admit. I always says in form of jokes but deep inside of me jealous... I'll try to control and avoid it but still with me... see you around
