We had a show on tv last night that took place at the Tesler Manor known for being haunted. They contacted the ghosts haunting the place and found out the name of the black man who was buried alive in a huge trunk. They also found out that there are more than one ghost in the place. Apparently, in the 1700 the daughter of a very rich man who was married to a rich man had an affair with a slave and had a baby. They could find the name of who killed the slave but they wouldnt say on TV. They used a table supplied by a medium and then they picked an ordinary table that was in the house. I know that some wont believe this but Ive done this before and when you have to get up to run after the table, you know its true!! Have you ever contacted dead people using a table?

No, I don't really believe in that sort of stuff. Besides, I think there'd be a possibility of getting possessed or something.

I don't think I have heard of this before. Was here anything special about the table? How did the table communicate with them? Can you give a little more information?

Sounds like what we call a Ouija board. But much more exciting. I can't guess what it would be like to see a table dance around like that.

Sorta but no letters on the table. Its something one must experience at least once in a lifetime.

Nothing special about the table. Any table can be used. You just need to have more than one person sitting around it as apparently they use the people's energy to move the table to communicate. So we all sit around the table, hands flat on the table with our fingers touching but thats not necessary. Then we need to be patient and ask, out loud, a question. You tell the ghost to move the table for answers. You'll first feel the table sort of shaking, trying to lift or move around as if the ghost is trying to get the strength to lift it. Then you tell the ghost that one bounce for yes and 2 for no. You can also ask them to spell words and each bounce is a letter. Of course its best to NOT use a glass top table as it might break. Sometimes the table will lift high up in the air at one end or both ends or do as it did for us, run away on its own while we try to run after it to put our hands back on the table lol. Sometimes it doesnt work in a house but will work somewhere else. We've never done it in the house we live now but were planning on trying it over the weekend. Id send you the link to that tv show but its all in French, so you wont understand whats being said. If you want to know more about it, let me know!!

No I have never done something like that before, and I don't believe I would ever want to even attempt to. I guess I am nothing but a big scardy cat!!! I remember my cousins telling me about the story of Mary Worth and to this day (believe it or not) I get scared looking into a mirror in the dark. I still can't say her name three times without freaking out. My husband laughs and laughs, but I guess it really bothered me as a kid and stuck with me!

Bothered me too and its something I cant do lol. It sounds silly I know but you wouldnt get me to say her name while looking in the mirror. NO WAY!! Sounds easier with a table, especially if you're surrounded by other people. Not sure Id do it if I were alone though!! Call me chicken HA!!

I did that when I was a kid with a glass and letters. I was not believing in ghosts at this time, and it was just for fun. Years after, I rented a haunted house, and I have some good reasons to believe in ghosts now .

Oh dear, sounds like you had a few things happen to you in that rented house. Yes Im sure it would make you a believer now lol. Ive never been into a haunted house....well maybe I have but nothing happened while I was there. I only had a the experience with the table, communicating with a ghost. Thanks!

I find the whole thing entertaining and enjoyable to watch but I just don't believe in any of it. Things that happen on TV can be fixed or rigged, with the technology we have today they can make anything look real. I would have to see it and them maybe I still won't believe it. I don't see much of a difference between paranormal activity and Chris Angel, and he's good at what he does. It's a cool money maker.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. True, that you can only believe it when you are participating and it happened to you and you know the people who are with you and know that they arent cheating. I now of Chris Angel and makes you wonder how he does it all. But we know its just tricks! Thanks!!
