What do you think about nonmainstream areas like astrology and psychic?

Some believe that nonmainstream areas such as astrology, fortune-telling and psychic play a vital role in society by satifying human needs that are not addressed by mainstream science. What do you think about these nonmainstream areas?

I do not believe in these things. That's what happens when you go to university I guess, because they really teach you to question everything there.

These areas are more on paranormal but yet poking away from it. Can't really tell where they are exactly but i'm not willing to pursue these areas. I think i won't be successful in getting a job with these fields.
