Wearing a neck tie...

This morning our lecturer said that wearing a neck tie is a must when we are attending a formal function such attending lectures. He said that the norm in a government office is that we should wear neck ties. I am kind of not agree with him but just keep quite because I know if I argue with him surely I am not getting anywhere. He is always right. I am a person that do not like to wear neck tie due to the humid condition.

Yes i agree with your lecturer you should wear a neck tie if you are attending some professional function or any professional meeting. By doing this you will have a professional look and will also treated as a qualified person. If you are not wearing a tie and roaming here and there with your first button of your shirt open than the staff in your office will not give you much respect.
