It's enough if you'll have enough sleeping time in the entire week. Your health will be at stake if you'd not even close your eyes from the whole day of not sparing your time to relax and take a nap. I guess 5 hours PER DAY is enough already when you're a teenager, but if your age is on the extreme(e.g. too old or too young) it's never healthy.

recent studies showed that people who sleeps less than 6.5 hours have lesser energy, concentration and decrease immune system. The normal sleeping hours is 6.5 to 7.5 not less than or more than. Too much sleep can also be dangerous to one's health.

May be some nights like A new year eve, next day Exam, tight work at office or even traveling on a bus with next day full work. On these occasions u hav got to hav good sleep only of 5 hours and less than that. i say again, its only for some or rare occasions, But i wont recommend it daily. An adult requires 6-7 hours sleep of sleep and a child requires 7-9 or even 9 hours of sleep to be energetic, concentration and healthier.

Studies suggest that adults get at least seven or eight hours of sleep at night. By allowing ourselves, this "needed" sleep time, we are able to go through all the stages of sleep and are better able to cope with daily stresses. We all need REM sleep (rapid eye movement-dreaming). If we are deprived of this important sleep, we could feel tired, disoriented, slow to react to daily stressors, etc...I feel great when I have at least 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep! Some individuals might feel better with more or slightly less.

Everyone's body requires a different amount of sleep to function. For some people 5 hours is plenty of sleep for them. yet other people may require twice as much sleep.

5 hours of sleep is definitely not enough. Initially you might get through with it. But after a while, you won't be able to take it. You will feel lethagic.

For me it is not. But sometimes I sleep for 6 hours a night only and get by on that. But 5 hours is way too little, for me anyway.

Sleeping is the most powerful means of getting relaxation of mind. What really matters is the soundness and intensity of sleep.A normal persons use to sleep on an average 6 hours a day. However,it varies in relation to one's age.Children and old aged persons relatively sleep for more hours, while youngsters and middle aged ones do sleep for less hours. Sleeplessness can cause various physical and mental problems.I use to sleep nearly 6 hours a day. Thanks.

Sleep six hours in a day is better for our body and mind. But mainly it depend up on our health,i will sleep around six hours in a day.But some day i have many work so i will reduce my time to four or three hours. Many people are like this, but some one will sleep a fixed hours. Our mind need some rest it will get at the time of sleep,so we will make some sleep how much my mind need, otherwise it will make some problem .. have a nice day

I don't 5 hours of sleep is enough for anyone. It's ok to sleep 5 hours but not too often. I've slept 5 hours before and it didn't feel good the next day. I felt drowsy the whole day and I just can't hold my rationality together.

I don't know much of health and stuff but it is common to read and hear that we should sleep 8 hours as average. Sleeping enough of time has lots of benefits, speaking for experiences having less than of 8 hours for me makes me feel walking disaster. I am disoriented and my concentration is bad. . You should get enough sleep for a healthy you!

I sleep 6-8 hours a day including an hour nap in the afternoon. As per the study we should be able to sleep from 11 pm- 3 a.m. because this is where our body repair itself. That's the reason most of the day sleepers are sluggish compared w/ the night dreamers.
