Hello fellow mylotters. I have taken some pictures of the last flowers I gleaned from my yard on Thanksgiving. Friday was to be a very cold day, and I thought they would not last any longer outside. We had a lot of warm days here, above 40 degrees F. Our nights were colder, many below 32 degrees F and that is freezing. I was pleasantly surprised to see my roses still growing and flowering even though we had such cold nights. I didn't think they would survive but they did. I picked some for my friend who hosted Thanksgiving dinner too. She has the best and biggest rose that I didn't get a picture of
I am surprised they lasted through the frosts we had, but the days were still pretty warm yet and the frost didn't kill them off until Friday. Friday was a very cold day, and so is today. I'm sure the rest of the mums left in the yard have died off, but I didn't look.

I also love flowers. I'll have to go over to visit your profile to see if you have any pictures posted. Are you on Facebook by any chance? Going over to meet you now. Thanks so much for sharing this. Our leaves and flowers here in the central part of Indiana have lasted longer than usual, though they're pretty much all gone now.
