What factors are pushing the prices of real estates?

The home prices are making upward move every day.The prices of real estates have become too high and are beyond the reach of the common men, particularly in urban areas. The home prices in most Asian countries are touching the sky, forcing a large number of families to spend their life time without owning a home.Should the Government put control over the prices of the real estates and make it affordable for the common people?

You really need to watch some of the episodes of 'Conspiracy Theory' and especially the one about Wall Street. It is a real eye opener. Jesse Ventura interviews people in the know and gives us information that is interesting and thought provoking. You can go on the TruTv website and see the episode.

Be very careful and learn from our present experiences. Many over spent thinking that Real Estate was a sound investment and could only continue to increase in value. Not so if you look at history real estate like every other commodity goes in cycles both, up and down. Need a house, buy one in the USA you can get a great deal here.

Thanks for sharing your matured and live experiences. In several Asian countries like India, the cycle of Real Estate is in the upward trend and has not been showing any downturn unlike the conditions prevailing in USA.With excess liquidity of money in the market, the prices of houses particularly in urban centers are fast moving up. However,We are not being carried away by the frenzy trend and awaiting for the opportune time.

Hi narayan.. I think demand for the land and houses are making the prices go high and common men cant afford them.. You can see the land value fixed by government will be very less but the price actually we buy will be more than that.. and the brokers who deal the land will just keep rising the land value so that they can get good commission.. all these facts effects the rise in land value..
