I am a resident of Bangalore in Karnataka. Its also known as the silicon valley of India as all you techies know for the tremendous success it has had in IT in the past decade. There has been rapid development with malls being erected, discotheques, advertisers making a mad dash to sell their products, its absolute money and splendor. But Bangalore was not like this in the past 60-90s.Though it was a big city at that time, the lush prestigious greenery was not sacrificed but now all the past beautiful historical homes and greenery has been destroyed in the name of development. I have this longing to revisit Bangalore's past so i watch the 60-90s movies and browse through the photos but i guess the golden olden Bangalore cannot be reclaimed. So if have any memoirs of the past Bangalore please share not just with me but the world. Also i request all of you to share the nostalgic feelings you have for your city if it is facing the same situation as Bangalore

Doing as you posted also helps me, however I find keeping in touch with people helps even more. As it gives me hope that I can return and in the meantime still be able to keep with latest events as well.
