Does anyone else who watches One Tree Hill miss the old days in Tree Hill? I watched most of last season and caught up on dvd, but then I have hardly watched this season. It is just not the same to me. It is starting to feel forced, like they are trying to find material to write about. I miss Lucas and Peyton. My favorite season was probably season 4, their senior year. Does anyone else think it is not as good anymore?

As soon as I learned Lucas and Peyton wernt going to be on the show anymore, I sorta fell off with the series because Nathan, Brooke, and Haley were the one reacurring Characters. Don't get me wrong i loved those guys but most of the series fell in with Peyton and Lucas, and you just cant get rid of the two main characters like that, it would just make the series less popular. But whenever i have time I still try and watch some episodes just because Brooke and Haley are very attractive.LOL

I still watch it every now and then too, but it just doesn't hold my attention anymore, lol! When they started off this season with that alternate universe crap. I was like, ugh....

I stopped watching the season after Peyton and Lucas left. It turned into something OTH was not built upon. To me, it feels like they're pulling a Dawson's Creek where they're trying to make the show happen after they've all grown up. Unfortunately, all the life changes for them don't work. This show was the first where none of them were anything special, they were just high school students going through every day life drama that people could relate to! Now, Nathan is in the NBA, Haley has a record deal AND went on tour, Brooke is a fashion designer who is quite famous, etc. I just feel like they're trying too hard at this point and it's a shame because I loved the show from my Freshmen year of high school to just a few years ago.

YES! Last season was pushing it and this one is just......um, no. Give them real adult drama, not fairy tale lives. A much as I love the show, they should have ended with season 6 when Lucas and Peyton left, Nathan haad just made it to the NBAA, Brooke and Julian got together, Sam left Brooke.......that would have been a good way to tie up all loose ends and end it. Oh well. Just makes me look forward to Thursdays more.

Yes, I really miss the original characters..Why did they have to take them out and replace them with not so good characters. I miss Lucas and peyton too. I stopped watching after a few episodes of the 5 years later..

I don't even know who are the people in this series anymore LOL. I stopped watching around Season 4, when the writers started torturing BRUCAS fans =( so for me OTH ended in season 3. One Happy Camper here :D

Yes, it's beginning to feel forced. I will continue to watch, but like you said, it's just not the same without Lucas and Peyton. I loved all the episodes from when they were in high school, but yes, their senior year was one of the best. My favorite scene from all the past episodes is when Lucas tells Peyton, "It's you. It's always been you." And all the confetti is coming down in the background after they won the state championship. Every Tuesday night when I get home from work, I sit and watch my DVR'd One Tree Hill episode of the week. I still like it. I will still watch it, but it's just not the same.
