Any experience with having a bipolar girlfriend, or boyfriend?

Anyone have any experience being in a relationship with an individual who is bipolar?

I've never been in a relationship with someone who has the disorder, but I have it myself. It's a very misunderstood thing that carries a lot of stigma, as with most mental/emotional disorders, and I wish that people would become more educated on the matter.
