Hey friend i'm curious to know what you do.. When you and your parents together see the movie at home and in many movie there are some vulgar scenes or hot scenes comes in the midst of the movie then what is your reaction means you didn't feel shy as your parents are there. About me today i rarely see the Movies with my parents at home because of this reason only. In past various time this type circumstance has arisen and i used to get away from that place...What about you..?

Hi, I will feel shy when I was watching movies with some hot scenes and my parents or either my siblings are there. Although we have grown up and become adult, but I still do feel shy. Only when I am with my husband, then I won't have that shy feeling. I guess it is a normal reaction.

For me there is no need to you to feel shy. I believe you are an adult and so are your parents. They should have treated you as an adult, so why you must treat yourself otherwise? Maybe there are reasons you feel shy, but you will eventually find a circumstance when you cannot avoid it like you did with your parents. So face it and be brave to others and importantly to yourself...

Hi Siliguri, The last time we all saw a movie together was way back in late 1990s and I think the movie was Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge or Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. Since then we have never watched any movie together. Given the fact that we are Indians where such sleazy scenes are still a taboo, yes, I would feel uncomfortable watching anything like what you mention with my parents. Now, If I go away that is more uncomfortable and If I stay it is embarrassing. Hope we never see such a movie where either of us are uncomfortable. Btw - I do not prefer watching such scenes and I think they are just a waste of costly cinema reels as no movie in india needs such a thing they are just put for the front benchers who bring business and money to the Movie Makers... It is a fact that S*x Sells

I do feel shy at times, when there are sensitive scenes in the movie. However, my family and I have been pretty open regarding the matter so I don't feel the unease that many others do.
