Hi Friends, I was talking to one of my friend, he is joining a new company with better CTC and facilities. He told that he will have to wear formal cloths for 4 days in a week. I am coming to my office in casuals every day and there is no restriction on what to wear? Do you have any restrictions on cloths or footwears? Thank You.

There is a dress code in my company but it's not that strict. We only have to wear shoes instead of flip flops, jeans, slacks or cocky or any type of pants, and t-shirts, doesn't matter whether collared or not.

Nah. It's pretty much how you want to dress up. You just have to follow the dress code.

Hi Ajay Singh Baghel: At this moment I don't need to wear formal while I'm working but that's because I work on a Ciber-Café. However I have studied to be a lwayer so I'll have to wear formal because of my profession. ALVARO

thats would be a great profession. An advocate should wear formals for sure. It will look nice and create a professional atmosphare. Thank you and all the best.

My office is not requiring us staff to wear formals like long sleeves with tie and the like. I work in an organization working for people for development that is always out in the field helping the disadvantaged. So we always are in jeans and shirts even in the office. I use flats or even flipflops and occasionally in high heels in the office and rubber shoes while in the field. Really depends on the setting of the office. Like my former job required us only in casuals but should be modest and decent and not in short shorts or shorts for that matter. But it was kind of hot inside the office with no air conditioning so one day I came in with really short skirt and every one just kind of dropped their jaws LOL.

casual does not mean we can wear anything which is not fit for the office culture. It should be presentable enough in office. Thank you for sharing.

Even I like to dress casual and that way I feel confident. I agree with your thoughts which is similar to mine. Sometime people comment on my cloths as to it's not looking good but I am least bother about them saying so because I fell good is that what matters for me. Thank you for sharing.

Our management was not also strict since our company was publications, so we can wear casual or if you want it can also be formal anything you want as long as you don't wear short and slippers.

We don't have to wear office wear and there are some rules. Like no torn jeans and tee shirt with messages written on it. As for footwears, no slippers and flip flop.
