I have been to Ifugao about 8 years ago. I stayed there overnight with my colleagues with 1st class accommodation. I still remember that i tried to walk on the actual rice terraces and almost feel into mud. What impressed me more were the natives who were in their full native attire. One was really old and in her eyes I could see ages of wisdom. Each hard life experience she has is clearly and deeply etched into her face. Going back, the rice terraces is really very scenic and one has to go to different levels or areas to view the full magnificence of the rice terraces.
