How to use domain service?

Hi, I just signed up for a domain or godaddy. My site was originally hosted elsewhere on a free subdomain. How to transfer it to my new domain?
Plz mention ALL the steps because I am a total noob

You have to export the whole database to new database and update all configuration which pointing to the new domain.

Congratulation for your new domain first of all.. and now go to godaddy.com.. You must be given username and password to access your domain.. you will find your domain after login. now find manage your domain at godaddy or find nameserver entries of your domain at godaddy.. which must be of godaddy you change it to your free hosted domain name.
for ex
if you free hosted domain service having nameservers
nameserver1.freexxxxx.com
nameserver2.freexxxxx.com
just type them into your godaddy account..
or otherway simply live chat with supportive person and request them to redirect your domain to your hosted site with these nameservers. He will do it freely within few hours..
