Guns are dangerous?

A foreign student of mine told me he hasn't hold a gun in his entire life and so I let him borrowed mine. He's an adult and yes I didn't put a bullet inside. He dismantled the gun and inspected every nook and cranny. After a week he returned the gun to me and said, "I just realized something! There's a very tiny pin in the gun when I pull the trigger. That tiny pin hits the bullet and the bullet comes out of the gun! Such tiny pin, doesn't look dangerous at all. Teacher, guns are not dangerous, it's the people holding the guns are!"

True, but if not stored carefully they can get into wrong hands such as children or criminals...
