Mini Family vacation..

I want to take my kids on a family vacation this year. I have thought of all the hot spots,such as: Busch Gardens, Disney Wolrd, Six Flags, etc..While these places are wonderful and I have been to a couple of them before, I am looking for something that will fit in my budget. We live here in Michigan, and there are several spots where we could take a day trip: Mackinac Island, Bronner's Christmas World, and a couple water parks. What day rips do you have in your state that wouldn't be to rough on a limited budget?
