Facebook profile pic change to cartoon character pic as a cause???

Lately I noticed that all of my facebook friends change their profile picture to a cartoon character, I really wonder why until one of my friend chatted me and ask if I am going to join the campaign.
Here is the complete details: "Change your facebook profile picture to a cartoon character from your childhood and invite your friends to do the same. Until monday there should be no human faces on facebook, but an invasion of memeories. This is for violence against children".
The campaign is cool and I changed my profile pic to a cartoon character, you can add me in facebook my name there is Rexaniel Yamaro Saburnido and find out the cartoon character I used as my profile picture.
How about at you place is this campaign(Cause)also exist???

hiyee! im glad to hear that you participate in the campaign. Me and my friends did that too as well. It's really nice seeing all my friend's list profile pictures mostly of them was cartoon characters winnie the pooh, mickey mouse, hellokitty and lot more.

Hi there. I'm happy you joined the campaign. I did too and all of my friends did too. Some people ignore it and that's sad. 
Any cartoon character that you remember from your childhood will do. The point is to remember that we were once children too, innocent and helpless. And some of us experienced being scolded by adult people. So we should stop other people abusing their children because they were once children too. You got it?

I was not aware of this campaign on face book. I usually get a heads up or someone sends me something. I will definitely join in on the campaign. Abuse against anyone is a good cause, and abuse against children is an especially good cause. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
