hello, my lotters' friends. Still have a lot of works to do. If you have jobs to be done, what should you do? do you work overtime untill all jobs finished or you work jobs as long as you can, and then continued next day? How to manage your time to handle this? Please share your opinions here! and have nice day.

I rarely work overtime. In fact, overtime at my job is pretty much frowned upon and will actually rarely be approved. We usually only get overtime once a month for a staff meeting. Sometimes we get overtime if we are way over ratio and no one can get us out the door. However that's rare and they try to take time away from us when we are low so we don't have to get paid for that time frame. I'd love to work overtime for the money but they just don't give us the chance.

I have to work till all the items on the agenda for day is completed. Some days, I finish them and could leave early. Some days, I have to continue on into the evening, and by the time I get back home, it could be close to 10 pm. I would then be very tired and exhausted, but feel satisfied that I had done my job properly.

In my job, you can't do overtime unless the company asks you to, and it's not optional. You really have to do overtime if the company asks you to or it'll be deducted on your points. Although overtime don't occur that much.

Well some times I work overtime but where I work they try not to run into overtime to save on costs.Once in a while though i will get a few extra hours when its busy at the store i work at.They try to hire a fairly large staff so that they will very rarely have to get someone to work over the overtime threshold. And another thing that is frequently done is sending people home early in order to save labor costs.I am hoping to find a better job soon with a union so that i am paid better and have more benefits.
