My email box, of recent is being flooded by by some unwanted mails. Some of the old paid to read sites in which I am no more interested and some new email marketing sites where I joined unknowingly through paid to offer site. The normal unsubscribe tab is not available in those sites and mail sent to them to unsubscribe has no effect. Can any body advise me how to deal with this problem?

set up email filters and also mark them as spam. if nothing is working, change your email address

I've changed email accounts twice. Sometimes it's the only way. I'm thinking of doing it again - going back to one of the older accounts.

Thank you thesaiyanprince. Marking those mails as scams sound better idea than changing the email account.

Mark them as spam, and they should start going to that folder. Set up filters, so when E-mail comes from a certain address or has a certain topic they are moved to a different folder then your regular inbox, and just ignore anything in that folder. Unsubscribing, mark as spam, filters, about 20 folders. I was able to really clean up my e-mail in a matter of a week of actively working on it.

Sounds like good advice. I wish I didn't have so many I wanted to read that I just don't really have the time for.
