i think gmail is better than hotmail

i think gmail is better than hotmail as gmail is better looking as has a nice interface but hotmail takes up a lot of space showing advertisements.
Also gmail's spam detection technology is far better than hotmails.
I changed my gmail account to hotmail.
What do you think?
Yahoomail is a better option that hotmail i think.

Yes, gmail is better than hotmail because gmail provides very secure email service and good user interface. But, if you want to use fully spam secured email service then use email.biz where you can access any email account from anywhere.
Create a free email account & access any email account in universal login or choose premium email address from 20,000 domains of your interest with business class security.

I am different, I like to use Hotmail than Gmail. I have used Hotmail since 1997. During these years, Hotmail has improved. Now it has more offers such as Skydrive and so on. Since I like to use MSN as my chatting software, so whenever I get a new email, MSN will notify me. Besides, I can check my Hotmail emails easily from my cellphone. I get used to use MSN already.

Hotmail is sometimes slow and doesn't have as many options as Gmail... I use both because with hotmail you can use MSN and get your emails instantly, which you can't with gmail... perhaps gmail should set up and effective instant messenger system, and I'm sure they would beat MSN and skype at it^^
