What is the deal with the blogs on myLot?

Hello rappeter I don't know much about blogs, but I don't think the blog section is paid. I hope someone will come and say this for sure. Here's what myLot says about the subjects accepted for blogs: [i]- myLot encourages all subject types. A few types of blogs that we don't encourage are blog aggregators, extremely personal blogs, and adult content. - Personal blogs are fine as long as they have good content that is appealing to a mass and/or newsworthy.
