How Do You Control Yourself?

Hi! So, we all face challenges in our lives every day. We face problems in work, home, school, and almost every where. We are always under pressure. Now, because of these things going on, many people are becoming stressed out. But still, there are people who can manage to handle the situation and still go well. I personally am not trying to be too serious about things especially if I know I cannot do anything to change things. How about you guys? What do you do to control yourself during crazy situations? How do you manage things in your life? Do you think you still need changes? Thanks for sharing!

i'm a worrier so i manage everything seriously though people see me smiling almost all the time. they tell me i'm good with almost everything but that's not really true. i don't agree with almost everything but it happens and before i say no or comment against something, most of the time i think more than once if it's necessary. when i'm problematic, i keep myself from everybody, avoiding questions i don' wanna answer, i don't like advises, if i share it doesnt mean i'm asking for advises. when i'm on the verge of crying, i cry though i hate doin it in front of people i don't know. almost everything is controllable actually, but there really are things we wont be seeing it comin. just relax, smile, and pray.

I am not a particularly emotional person, so I always deal with situations from my head rather than my heart. Generally speaking, I find that people who are emotional and deal with things from their heart are the people that suffer from stress. If I am in a stressful situation, for example I have many tasks to do and a short period of time to do them in then I will tend to write a to do list, this gets all the things I did to do out of my head (I loose one task of having to remember them all), ticking the tasks off as they are completed is kind of relaxing to me because I can see that I am making progress. If I tried to do everything off the top of my head then I would probably feel like I still had loads to do and was making no progress.

Hi. To control myself isn't easy. It takes us a lot of time to pratice controlling myself. Sometime I have to say to my mind that Be Calm Down. I have to do it many times, but sometime it's not effected. We don't do right in everything, so we still need changes if that side isn't good.

Before I am giving my self a hard time because I think of so many things at once and feels like everything is too much for me to handle. I always have a headache and there are some nights I can't sleep peacefully because I worry too much about my future. I have many problems before like health, money and lack of opportunity. But then i realized that I am punishing myself that much. I need to give myself some time to break away from problems and stress. I realized that if I think too much everything will just multiply in hardship. So now I am taking each day as it is. No pressure.

Well, it's not good to kick up a fuss or get super angry when things don't go well. That'll only waste energy. For me, I'll stop doing the things in hand and start listening to jazz. When everything is in an idling state, I'll go back and review the things which have caused the breakdown. You must always be calm when faced with challenging situations. Being angry just doesn't work.

hello friend don't worry about all your pressures..Every person has problems in this World and every one of us will be pressurized at one moment or the other. First of all don't get discouraged. Think positively about the situation and your problem, think about the ideas or the ways for the solutions do not go away or run away or escape from the problem. Thinking about the solution gives a better relief for you so friend i suggest u to stay cool before going for decision. Think about it or take advice from your beloved one's and come to a decision. Have a good life..

Hi!For all things which are beyond my control, i try not to let them worry me too much. But if a set of circumstances repeat then i try to devise new and effective ways to deal with it.Under stress i rely on spirituality and good company which makes me feel positive to overcome such situations.I feel patience and calmness will help us to think through and overcome difficult situations.

Try not to let your panic dominate you. I have a grandma who is very old and sometimes she can be very demanding and annoying. When she starts complaining, just respond it naturally, don`t take it seriously. Say something nice, don`t get irritated easily then let her be by herself for some time. When my mom feels under pressure, i ask her to leave my grandma`s room. Well, dealing with elderly can be very enjoyable but sometimes we can feel very upset and under pressure. I still learn how to control my emotion too

Honestly I can't handle my pressure anymore here at home. If people wants to pick a fight then I need to fight with them since I am really so sick and tired for being so good and patient.

I've learned how to repress my feelings at a young age. I have acquired this skill of being calm on the outside but my insides re in turmoil. I just breathe slowly to calm myself even more, i think about everything that's happening or happened and find the rationale behind it. I try to make sense of everything, derive neutral conclusions that would calm myself down.

Hello there! It is so difficult to have self control especially when I am really angry. What I do is let it out, either by talking it out or unwind myself by window shopping, just to make myself clear from any emotions that may lead to something I will regret later. Cheers!
