In India there was a tabloid called BLITZ before the modern multi-coloured papers, magazines, fortnightly's came into being. Everyone who used to read English newspaper, used to buy this tabloid because it used to have a detailed investigative reports, gossips about movie actors and actress, scandals about public men. The tabloid is replaced by other papers and fortnightly. In regional language (Kannada which is my state language), there are dozens of tabloids - police story, crime story, politics and general articles. They are quite popular. What is reported in newspaper does not get reported here. What is reported here is more interesting and gives a first hand information about any news item. Hence they are quite popular.

That's great. What is reported in tabloids at least give us new ideas to think about, although here in the US most stories in them are exaggerated they can have some element of truth.

I used to read those alot when I worked in a factory. I know the stories arent true but they are entertaining. I like the crossword puzzles they have in them the best though. It's also funny to try and figure out how they make some of those pictures look so real when you know they have added at least 2 together to make one.

No, I've heard too many stories about how they dummy up pictures and print lies. There are enough lies to deal with in life without wasting time reading them. I wouldn't waste my money on such trash.
