Perhaps on the weak and simple minded it might be true. The type of person that might be able to be able to believe this thing. The thing is the mind is not something that stays in one place. There are a multitude of thoughts that are going on at any given moment of time. Flowing, complex, ever changing, never the same, everything is changing and you never could get a lock. It is an interesting thing but it is not really all that feasible to say the very least. The mind is just too complex. Certain things might be gathered by certain methods, but really mind reading just implies to me that the mind is rather a simplistic thing to say the very least. I really do think that it is not something that really rings true.

Someone can get access to the information you hold deep inside your mind through hypnosis. Well, when you are hypnotised, you will abide to the voice of the person hypnotising you, and you will answer any questions if you were asked too. I have read a book about hypnosis, which described in more details what I have written above.
