I do garden and enjoy it alot. A couple of year after our housefire I sure missed it. Am glad to be planning for it again this year. Will buy some of my plants since I am still not in my house yet. But there will still be things to can, dehydrate and freeze. Sure helps with the budget. Good exercise too. With raised beds it is getting easier to plant the garden. Important since we will not be mobile forever. Anything to extend it. I hope you have a friend that you can garden through vicariously.

My oldest daughter does most of the work for me know since I am unable to do the work myself now. She is also the one that would go with me when I was still working and help plant flowers at the shopping centers that I used to take care of. I miss gardening greatly. I should put in some raised beds so I good set on the edge and mess with the plants. Thank you for that suggestion.

Im horrbile at doing such a thing.. they always die lol and I start it and cant seem to get back into it.

I think I was born with a green thumb. My dad gave me my own section of the garden when I was six years old and I had been growing things ever since. Went to college and got a digree in Ornamental Horticulture. then I worked in wholesale nurseries for twenty years and then in the landscape industry until I retired because of the health issues I have. When I was younger I was one of those people with hundreds of house plants.
