I have P10,000.00 but still not enough to buy a laptop. Can you suggest what brand or laptop model I can buy for not more than P15,000.00? I need a personal computer (laptop) with me because I am working on my graduate thesis and I use to travel due to my being a research assistant. I need advice.

with the budget that you present... it is in my opinion that you won't be able to buy a laptop... netbooks are in that price range... like MSi, Neo, and eMachines... laptops here in the PH are a little bit more expensive than in other countries. try going on sites like asianic.com.ph or villman.com.

Hi I can see that your from cagayan de oro, I also live there. The cheapest brand of laptop in the market is acer, asus and lenovo I think. Why dont you canvas laptops in the mall or some reviews here in the internet?I think it might be very useful for you. I have bought my laptop for about P 20,000 because its HP. You should look for a laptop thats cheap, you should look for a quality one so that you money will not be wasted for buying things like that.

Well..I am not sure what brands are there for buying a laptop but if Dell is there..I would recommend you to go for Dell for many reasons: 1)Not very expensive,It costs about 40000-50000 Indian rupees (You can convert to your currency) for an Inspiron or Studio laptop and 50000-60000 INR for Studio XPS..I would recommend you to go for studio laptop..Before you're going to buy a laptop..You can write its specifications and model number..Maybe i could give you an advise on that. 2) Its Customer care service is excellent! I have formatted my Windows twice from their service and they do it within a day..Once my HDD crashed and they repaired it within 2 days..That was very good..That too for free! As the laptop was under warranty. 3)Good Backup facilities..They have 4-5 backup programs including factory backup where if you are having problems with your windows you can back it up to factory status..that is,Like a newly formatted windows! All the best!
